Theatre Asylum (Hollywood, CA)

"Suicide Notes: In Their Own Words"

This intense theatrical experience features a cast of four reading actual suicide notes, their writers ranging from Kurt Cobain and members of the LGBT community to war veterans and victims of bullying. Lest you think the concept of the show exploitative, Suicide Notes: In Their Own Words aims to shed light on the factors that can lead a person to taking their own life, with a portion of the proceeds going to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Conceived, adapted and directed by Stan Zimmerman (Meet & Greet), this powerful show can be seen at Theatre Asylum as part of The Hollywood Fringe Festival.
