Strawberry pancake breakfast & talk by seasoned peace activist Janis Alton. She will speak about the significance of the International Women’s Day for Peace and Disarmament, and her journey (with 30 women from 15 countries) across the demilitarized zone between North & South Korea.
Some of the women who were present on the walk: American feminist Gloria Steinem, Nobel Peace Prize Laureates Mairead Maguire (from Northern Ireland) & Leymah Gbowee (from Liberia), & Code Pink Co-founder Jodie Evans.
