"¡Viva La Tradición!" A Tribute to Nati Cano and Los Camperos

¡Viva La Tradición! celebrates the spirit and tradition of Mexican-American music, centered on the lively and always entertaining sounds of the mariachi. Formed and led by the legendary Natividad “Nati” Cano, Mariachi Los Camperos brings their Grammy-winning music to the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse in a tribute to their late founder. The ensemble is famed for backing up Linda Ronstadt on her ground-breaking Canciones de Mi Padre and Mas Canciones albums, not to mention helping this form of traditional Mexican folk music gain a foothold in Los Angeles and across the U.S. Nati passed away in 2014, but his spirit lives on through his music. Also performing at the show will be Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar, Las Colibrí, Mónica Treviño, Ballet Folklorico Ollín and Folklor Pasión Mexicana. Mundo Fox anchor Jose Armándo Ronstadt will host.
