Radio controlled sailboats, tugboats and other miniature maritime craft will be on display at Sugar Beach and cruising in the adjacent Redpath shipping channel on Sunday, July 12 as part of the Panamania arts and cultural activities in support of the PanAm Games.
The Metro Marine Modellers will be exhibiting museum-quality model ships, operating radio controlled (r/c) scale model boats and racing three classes of r/c sailboats from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Club members will be on hand to explain their hobby to members of the media and the public.
