Nekromantix: Psychobilly Legends at The House of Blues
House of Blues on the Sunset Strip (West Hollywood, CA)

Famed for his invention of the “coffinbass,” an upright double bass in the shape of a coffin complete with a cross-shaped headstock, Kim Nekroman brings his Danish-American psychobilly band Nekromantix to L.A.’s House of Blues. The trio’s best known for their Curse of the Coffin album, which captures the genre’s signature mix of ’50s punk, ’70s rockabilly and campy gothic-horror lyrics, as well as their 1994 disc Brought Back to Life, which scored a Grammy nomination for Best Heavy Metal Album. Mad Marge and the Stonecutters and Tabaltix are set to open.
