Theatre Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)
Lights, camera, action! The glitz and glamour of Tinseltown returns with The Golden Age of Hollywood, two one-act plays coming to L.A.’s Theatre Palisades. This theatrical double-feature offers an exciting glimpse into the booming age of the entertainment industry. Set in the 1940’s, Lost in Radioland is a comedy-thriller that follows a group of Hollywood’s biggest stars as they perform a suspenseful syndicated radio show. On-set drama unexpectedly gives way to real-life danger when an escaped killer wreaks havoc on Los Angeles. Starring a cast that harkens back to a different throwback era — including Keith Coogan (Adventures in Babysitting, Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead) and Claudia Wells (Back to the Future) — the production will feature a different guest celebrity each night. Meanwhile, in Claudine Claudio’s Original Win: The Early Days of Oscar two aspiring actresses and iconic star Victoria Burroughs chase their dreams of winning an Oscar.
