Like Regina Spektor meets Joni Mitchell with a healthy dose of Serbian folk, Jelena Ćirić’s fresh, original songs pay homage to the rich, traditional music of Serbia, where she was born, and the songwriting tradition of Canada, where she grew up. May of 2015 marks the release of her debut EP of original songs, Places. A versatile artist with an expressive, flexible voice, she also performs jazz, folk, and classical music.
