Little Red, a punk-rock twist on the familiar story of Little Red Riding Hood, takes the stage at Casa 0101 Theater. Featuring contemporary music and a Chicana attitude, Little Red is a story that audiences of all ages can appreciate. It takes you on a rebellious teenager’s journey through the treacherous Holly-Woods where she must forgo technology and modern transportation in order to visit her ailing grandmother. Standing in her way is Don Coyote, a loner teen rocker that tries to seduce Red with his style, cool demeanor and British accent, only to try and rob Red of the most precious thing that she has yet to appreciate — her family. This fun and fresh adaptation of the story features original music by Grammy award-winning artist Quetzal Flores.
