Experience horror metal at its blackest, conjured up by one of rock’s most sinister sons, Glenn Danzig. The legendary frontman (Misfits, Samhain) brings his eponymous band to L.A.’s Microsoft Theater to play an oh-so apt Halloween show. You’re just as likely to hear heavy metal classics like “Mother,” “Am I Demon” and “Twist of Cain,” as you are to hear numbers from Danzig’s forthcoming covers album Skeletons, which features tracks by the likes of ZZ Top, Black Sabbath and even Elvis Presley. Joining Danzig for the Blackest of the Black tour are fellow face-melters Superjoint, Veil of Maya, Prong and Witch Mountain. Costumes are encouraged, so now’s the time to perfect that skull makeup and get those macabre costumes on deck.
