Join Xpace for the opening reception of our Winter exhibitions, part of the Toronto Design Offsite Festival 2016.

There will be snacks and drinks and the artists will be in attendance.

Design Community includes five projects by emerging designers, artists and design teams who employ design methodologies to consider the potential of contemporary design practices to encourage human connection. The selected projects explore diverse concepts of empathy, collaboration, history, marginalization, and oppression while considering how together we can navigate hope for the future.

Join us for a guided exhibition tour Saturday, January 23 at 2pm.

Love is… Plastic

Corey Moranis

Corey Moranis is a multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Toronto. Her favourite mediums are plastic, fibre, and cake. Her explorations in colour, texture, and all things that sparkle have combined to create some of the freshest and most fabulous jewelry in the galaxy Cocos Frosting Shack! Shes chunky, yet funky, and loves the expression MORE IS MORE, most of the time.

Being Digital

Katherine Ross

Katherine Ross Being Digital is comprised of 30 text artworks using different mediums to highlight different aspects of the digital world. The language used in this exhibit is loaded and highly evocative with intent to direct a voice that incites new feelings towards the way people act with the world and each other.
