Writer, illustrator, comedian and stripper Jacqueline Frances (aka Jacq the Stripper) chronicles her eye-opening journey from Australia to New York, from encounters with man-hating drifters to compassionate playboys, in her witty and feminist memoir, The Beaver Show.
With the help from Kickstarter, Frances is taking The Beaver Show from New York back to her beloved Ontario to kick off her North American tour.
Hosted by Victoria Lean (filmmaker, After the Last River; Line Producer, VICE) and followed by a special Q&A with Leah Fay (July Talk), An Evening with Jacq the Stripper is crass, inspiring, and disarmingly informative.
Come to The Beaver for a joke, a book, several lemon drop shots and endless stripper tales.
