On May 28th and 29th, reimagine Canada’s history in an Old City Hall courtroom with readings by some of the city’s finest writers, poets and playwrights including Pasha Malla, Priscila Uppal, Kerri Sakamoto, Rabindranath Maharaj, Sheniz Janmohamed and more. Also, a roster of writers from Diaspora Dialogues’ mentorship program, including Alicia Elliott, Shawn Salik, Shaista Latif, Mia Herrera and Pratap Reddy explore a moment or figure in Canadian history through a more diverse and inclusive lens. Readings are every half hour throughout the weekend in Old City Hall, Court Room 121.
