Election Commission of Malaysia has displayed the list of supplementary electoral rolls on Wednesday for the next two weeks regarding the first quarter of the year 2012, throughout the country.

The EC made an announcement on Wednesday giving details about the display of the rolls. They mentioned that these have been put up in 15 election offices of the states, 451 post offices which are computerized, 124 district offices, 86 government offices, 48 municipal offices, and 194 multi-purpose halls/offices/locations with remaining 34 in other locations. The detailed descriptions of the rolls are given on the official website of the election commission and interested candidates can visit the website for thorough knowledge.

The commission said, “New applicants and people who changed their polling district are advised to check the rolls,” alongside mentioning that there are about 104,430 applications from already listed voters to change the district of their polling station and approximately 289,255 applications have been filed by new voters who want to register themselves to the system. These figures that have been announced are only for the first three months of the current year.

Further explaining the procedures, the EC said that those applicants who had submitted their applications to the commission to be filed as electors but they do not see their names in the lists which have been put up, should contact the EC at the earliest by filing a Form B.
