The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a person of interest in two suspicious incidents.

On Monday, November 15, 2010, at 1:05 p.m., police responded to a call at the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus.

It is alleged that:

– a man entered the third floor of the Sciences and Research building and asked for Potassium Cyanide,

– the man fled the area before police arrived.

He is described as brown, late teens, 5’8", 134 lbs., thin build and short black hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie underneath.

On Monday, January 10, 2011, at noon, police responded to another suspicious incident call at the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus.

It is alleged that:

– the same man entered the third floor of the Sciences and Research building and approached a professor in his office and asked if he could have some Potassium Cyanide,

– the professor told the man he did not have the chemical, and the man left the building.

The man is described as brown, late teen’s early 20’s, 5’8", 130 lbs., with a thin build, short black hair. He was wearing a black winter jacket with a red/white vertical swoosh at the chest to the waist.
