Oh No! Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin plans to speak at a Tea Party movement rally this morning at a public park in Boston, the site of the original Tea Party.

Organizers expect several thousand people at the event on Boston Common, even though the city is a Democratic stronghold.

The former Alaska governor was Senator John McCain’s running mate in 2008. Despite her election loss and the questions raised about her qualifications to be president, she still has a devoted following among some conservatives.

The fervently antiestablishment Tea Party movement is a new force in American politics, whose future impact is still being debated. Palin is expected to take the stage at 10:40 a.m.

Peace activists are planning to stage a counter-demonstration.

Leading figures in the state Republican party have split on whether to join the rally with the controversial group. Gubernatorial candidate Charles D. Baker and US Senator Scott Brown will not attend.

Comment: It is amazing how she always weasels her way into these type of gatherings. There goes any credibility that the Tea Party had. Advice to the Tea Party, keep bimbos like Sarah Palin out of your gatherings.

  1. I hope she wears something nice. You have to admit she is a good looking lady for her age. Kind of hot, if you ask me.
