Aamir Khan may be busy readying for the release of his next venture Dangal, but the actor’s wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao recently faced a crisis at home. In fact Rao’s house was burgled with over Rs. 80 lakhs worth of jewellery going missing.
The said jewellery includes an expensive ring and a diamond necklace. Rao’s relatives filed a formal complaint at the Khan police station for the theft. Following the complaint, the Khar police have registered a first information report (FIR) under section 380 (theft in dwelling house, etc) of the Indian Penal Code.
While the police are still investigating the theft, the investigating officers have zeroed down on three suspects: the cook, Kiran Rao’s assistant and the help and are questioning them currently.
