One of the most popular double role Bollywood film was Judwaa starring Salman Khan in a twin role and the film is all set to have a contemporary version with Varun Dhawan leading the cast. Besides him, the original Judwaa actor Salman Khan was supposed to do a cameo and yet another name added to that list from previous star cast is that of Karisma Kapoor.
Readers may be aware that Karisma Kapoor plays the love interest of one of the Salman Khan’s two characters in the 1997 film. Though the details of the cameos that Salman and Karisma are playing are strictly being guarded, the former actress recently revealed that filmmaker David Dhawan had approached her for the film. David Dhawan, who is also helming the remake, apparently had mentioned about the said cameo to Karisma to which the actress mentioned that she would love to do it. She also expressed her happiness over Varun taking the comedy forward and was all praises for the Gen Y star.
On the other hand, it is being said that Jacqueline Fernandez will step into the shoes of Karisma Kapoor in Judwaa 2 whereas Taapsee Pannu has been roped in to play the role similar to Rambha. The film is slated to release on September 29, 2017.
