Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 is expected to be twice the rivalry that will be portrayed in the film compared to its prequel. While its trailer released just few hours ago, let us tell you something unique about the role played by Chitrangda Singh. In fact, the actress has even gone ahead and recreated a moment that will remind you of the cult film Pakeezah.
It is a known fact that Chitrangda Singh essays the role of a dancer and is romantically paired opposite Sanjay Dutt. On the other hand, Sanjay belongs to the royal clan who is a gangster and kingpin of the underworld. A look at the trailer and readers would be aware that Chitrangda will be seen putting up many dance acts in the film but there is this one special sequence that one should watch out for, according to the makers.
Dressed in an ethnic look, Chitrangda Singh looks every bit beautiful as they have attempted to recreate the Meena Kumari cult film Pakeezah in a song sequence for Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3. The actress, who is known for her unconventional roles in the past, will be dancing extensively in a film for the first time. Hence, we hear that she has even undergone extensive rehearsals.
Speaking of other characters in the film, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3 will see a couple of addition besides Sanjay and Chitrangda. Kabir Bedi and Nafisa Ali play the royal parents of Sanjay Dutt. However, the roles of Saheb and Biwi are reprised by Jimmy Sheirgill and Mahie Gill respectively. The film is also said to feature a cameo by Soha Ali Khan who played Jimmy’s second wife in the prequel to this film. Here’s a sneak-peek of the characters in the recently released trailer:
Produced by Rahul Mittra and Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has also directed the film, it is slated to release on July 27, two days before the birthday of Sanjay Dutt.
