Banned Film Federation issues non-cooperation directive against Firoz Nadiadwala

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The monetary dispute regarding last year's blockbuster comedy Welcome Back between producer Firoz Nadiadwala and director Anees Bazmee has now reached a flash-point.

The Federation Of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a non-cooperation directive against Nadiadwala in the matter of the non-payment of dues. This means that unless the due money is paid to Bazmee and other technicians mentioned in the complaint (makeup artiste Bashrat Khan, cinematographer Kabir Lal and others) Nadiadwala cannot employ any artiste from the film industry to work in his film.

The letter from the FWICE of which this writer has a copy states, "We are left with no option but to issue 'Non-cooperation directive' with immediate effect. If any member is found violating the said directive disciplinary action may be taken…"
