Fish Crisp in Tomato Sauce 


350 g Garoupa meat

½ onion, wedged

½ cucumber, wedged

½ red capsicum, wedged

½ tsp chopped garlic

¼ tsp salt

3 tbsp cornflour

Tomato Sauce:

4 tbsp tomato sauce

1 tsp sugar

½ tsp salt

½ tsp vinegar

4 tbsp water


½ tsp cornflour solution


Clean fish meat and drain well. Slice. Add in salt and cornflour to marinate for 10 minutes, set aside.

Heat up oil, deep fry fish until golden brown. Dish up and drain. Set aside.

Heat up wok with 1 tbsp of oil, stir fry chopped garlic and add in fish, onion cucumber, red chilli wedges, and seasoning, bring to the boil and pour in cornflour solution, pour over fish.
