Meanwhile one of the women, Kaka Kolo who claims to be a Dinka abducted in 1997 in Chiir of Maar Payam according is still in Bor under police custody for further investigations.”

“Kolo was abducted in 2007 from Kengor of Likuangolei Payam by Lou Nuer has been identified not to be from Nuer by the community security personnel who brought her back to Bor town,” Adut said.

Kolo said she is not a Dinka by tribe. She explained that her father’s name is Koko Konyi and her mother is Dakei Limiriyabok from Kengor village of Likuongolei Payam.

According to Dinka Pakeer community, Kolo was abducted in 1997 in Chiir village and her name was called Amuor Majok.

A seven year old abducted child who also was found in Pibor County and only identified to be from the Anyuak community is the centre of controversy between the Dinka and Anyuak communities.

According to Mr. Adut the child will be taken for DNA test (deoxyribonucleic acid) to determine the biological parents.

“He doesn’t speak both Anyauk and Dinka languages but can speak Murle language only even though the Dinkas say that the boy is called Mayen Anyang while the Ayuak called him Omot,” a community member, Ayii Kuany has said.

Another boy known as Deng Madit who was abducted last year along Juba – Bor road then later escaped from the Murle abductors and is now in Bor town safe with his relatives.

Madit said that he was abducted by six armed men who ambushed their bus while travelling from Juba to Bor County.
