The traders’ union however, has risen complains, that the license fee has now been increased compared to previous years.
Acting Mayor of Bor Municipal Council, Deng Akuei, says that the license is mandatory for every businessman in the town.
“They have to come for the renewal of their licenses because mostly it is the work of their trading, because when you have no trading license then they may have difficulties the administration of the town,” Deng Akuei said.
Deng said that the renewal of the trading license is an annual exercise that has to be adhered to by every individual who is engaged in business.
Mabior Kuol, an Executive Director for the traders Union in Bor, says the cost of the trading license has increased but the details are yet to be released of how much exactly a trader is expected to pay.
