An anonymous death threat has been made to the life of the key character of the Memogate case, Manoos Ijaz’s daughter who lives in Canada. The death threat said that his daughter will be abducted and killed, as per various resources.
The threat was made to the son of Ijaz in London on his personal number via text message and said that the life of Mansoor Ijaz’s daughter living in Canada is in danger. Investigations on the sender of the text message have started right away. Media was informed that the Canadian and New York Police both are working towards finding the origin of the text and thereby find out the sender of the threat.
Report for the threat has been filed and the New York Police Department (NYPD) is working their way up to the sender of the text with the help of the handset of Mansoor Ijaz’s son. Heavy security has been arranged at the resident of the American business tycoon from the origin of Pakistan in order to ensure that there is no security breech and that the family remains secure.
Ijaz Mansoor has informed the media and concerned authorities previously as well that he has received death threats.
