Musa Gillani, the younger son of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani, flies abroad on Wednesday as soon as the chemical import cases opens up in Supreme Court.

The investigation committee formed by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) headed by Faheem Ahmed had requested the concerned authorities within ANF and to the Supreme Court on Tuesday that the name of the son of the Prime Minister should be included in the Exit Control List to ensure that he does not flies out of Pakistan and hampers the progress on the case as the Supreme Court issued notice to Ali Musa Gillani and the Secretary of ANF Khushnood Lashari on Tuesday regarding the irregularities of the import of ephedrine drug to Pakistan, which is a restricted drug.

According to the hearing proceedings on Tuesday, Faheem Ahmed had informed the court that the investigation into the case was initially carried out by him and his team which was hampered by higher authorities on grounds that some affluent politician is pressurizing to put an end to the case. He and his team were put off the case and a new team was formed for investigation at that time. The secretary, Khushnood Lashari, is accused of establishing alliance with the son of the Prime Minister for illegal purposes and making deliberate efforts to keep his name out of the controversy.
