Durham Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Ajax male, last seen this morning at his residence and investigators are concerned for his welfare.

On Monday July 11, 2011 at approximately 9:30 a.m. the missing 43-year-old male was last seen by family members at his residence in Ajax, driving away in a family vehicle, not indicating his intended destination. The victim left his residence in an emotional state and family members and investigators have not been able to contact or locate the missing man since this morning and are becoming increasingly concerned.

Jeff THORNE, age 43, is described as: male, white, 173 cm; 82 kg, brown/grey hair, fair complexion, medium build and last seen wearing a red/white t-shirt and beige and grey shorts. The missing male is driving a 2003 Saturn, 4-door, black, bearing Ontario licence plate BJTC804.

UPDATE: Jeff has been located.
