Jeremy Norman of Toronto charged with sexual assault

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation.

On Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at approximately 10:30 p.m. police received a call for an assault in progress in the Danforth Avenue/Greenwood Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

– a woman was approached by a man while on her front porch,

– the man knocked the woman to the ground and punched her in the face,

– neighbours assisted the woman and held the man until police arrived.

Jeremy Norman, 37, of Toronto, was charged with:

1. Sexual Assault,
2. Assault Causing Bodily Harm.

The Toronto Police would like to thank the public for their assistance with this investigation.

Jeremy Norman is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, September 30, 2010, 2 p.m., at College Park Courts, room 501.
