Following notification of his family, the RCMP are releasing the name of a man killed on Saturday evening on Irving Boulevard in Bouctouche, when a pick-up traveling westbound on Irving Boulevard collided with a car that was turning onto the roadway.
The driver of the car, who has been identified as 51-year-old Jean Maillet of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed away at the scene.
The driver of the pick-up truck, a 20-year-old Bouctouche man, sustained minor injuries.
Investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
