Police investigating suspicious death, Limestone Siding, N.B

District 10 RCMP are investigating the death of a 41-year-old Grand Falls area man, after RCMP responded to reports of an injured man on Route 130 in Limestone Siding, near Grand Falls, on the evening of May 21, 2011. The man was transported to Edmundston Regional Hospital, where he passed away the following afternoon.

At this point, the man’s death is deemed suspicious, and foul play has not been ruled out. An autopsy will be performed in Saint John on May 23 to determine the cause of death.

On May 22, a Grand Falls area woman was arrested and later released in connection with this incident. The investigation is ongoing.

The man’s name is not being released at this time.
