Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3830 Westhampton about 2:50 a.m. today.
The victim, Clarence Vick, 61, of the above address, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Odom and Senior Police Officer W. Ferguson reported:
Mr. Vick had returned home from his job as a photographer at a night club and began to water his front lawn. According to his rommate, Vick was then approached by two unknown males who robbed Vick. During the course of the robbery, Vick was shot one time.
