Three Arrested in Ajax Drug Investigation

Three members of an Ajax family were arrested and over $16,000 in cash and drugs seized yesterday as part of an investigation focusing on an Ajax residence.

On Thursday, July 28, 2001, members of the West Division Target Team, with the assistance of the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), executed a search warrant at a Cornwall Drive address in Ajax as part of an ongoing investigation.

The search warrant yielded over $15,000 in Canadian and American currency, 117 grams of marihuana, 15 grams of psilocybin and various drug paraphernalia items. Total value of the cash and drugs is approximately $16,500.

Daniel TODD, age 54, of Cornwall Drive in Ajax is charged with: Trafficking a Controlled Substance (marihuana); and Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (marihuana). He was held for a bail hearing.

Glen TODD, age 26, of Cornwall Drive in Ajax is charged with: Trafficking a Controlled Substance (marihuana); Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (marihuana); and Possession of a Controlled Substance (psilocybin). He was held for a bail hearing.

Wendy TODD, age 57, of Cornwall Drive in Ajax, is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (marihuana). She was released on a Promise to Appear Undertaking.
