Police indicted the driver of a tractor-trailer that accidentally crashed on the Don Valley Parkway late Tuesday due to careless driving.

The accident, which damaged three vehicles, left the active public road blocked from 10 p.m. on Tuesday to almost 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Toronto Police asserts that a 38 year-old truck driver was under influence.

Toronto police Sgt. Glen George says there’s no excuse for this crash and the carnage it caused.

Sgt. George said: “Operators of these type of vehicles, a commercial vehicle of any type, are professionals, and you should act with a professional manner when you’re driving that vehicle, and that includes making sure you’re not impaired by any type of, whether it’s alcohol, drugs or even being tired behind the wheel.”

Reportedly, the tractor-trailer dived across the highway just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday. The truck was hit by a minivan while another car then banged into both vehicles. The driver and a passenger in the truck were immediately sent to hospital with slight injuries. Two other people also suffered minor injuries.

Really do you think so …. so ask all your other young country men to stand up and work hard.. who do nothing but smoke weed, take drugs, become fathers when they are 17 and stay on welfare for most of their life. I work in trucking industry and yes in safety and compliance department, i have seen worst drivers from every race and nationality. It people like you who do not leave any chance to speak their own bullshit without even getting close to the facts.
And the race and nationality you are talking about (yes we all know), most of the major carriers in peel region like Yankee, Quick X, Day & Ross, Trans X employee these people because they are also hardworkers. So stop bullshiting are live by the facts. It was a bad acccomment_IDent, can be done by any person. You do not know who the person was, what was its nationality, i would like to talk to you if we found that person was indeed White Canadian…… learn to live in the modern society and be more optimistic.
