The Hamilton Police Service has arrested and charged a Hamilton man alleged to be involved in child pornography offences.
In September, 2011, the Hamilton Police Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) office was contacted by a concerned member of the public regarding some suspicious activities.
On October 20th, 2011, investigators from the ICE Unit went to a home at 540 King St. E. where a suspect was interviewed and computer equipment seized for examination. A search warrant was executed on the seized devices on November 22nd, 2011 and thousands of child pornography images were discovered. Police returned to the address and subsequently arrested, Christopher Harley, who is expected to appear for a bail hearing today.

Charges: Possession of Child Pornography
Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation with a detailed forensic examination of the computers.
