Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Major Crash Unit are investigating a traffic fatality involving a pedestrian which occurred on Harvard Court, NW.
On Monday, April 2, 2012, at approximately 1:55 pm, a trash truck was backing out of an alley in a northerly direction in the 2900 block of Harvard Court, NW when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was onHarvard Court.
The deceased pedestrian has been identified as 31 year-old Stanley William Huff Jr. of Northwest, Washington, DC.
The investigation is ongoing.
