On October 26th 2010 at approximately 4:13 PM police observed a 25 year old male on a Kowasaki Ninja Motorcycle, with a passenger on the bike, who was not wearing a helmet, in a parking lot near 105 Wharncliffe Road. When the motorcycle saw the police he sped away on Byron Avenue and continued west.

The driver then accelerated through the stop sign at Orchard Ave without stopping. When he accelerated the motorcycle passenger fell off the back of the bike, resulting in some minor injuries to the passenger. The motorcycle never stopped. As police were dealing with the passenger who fell off the bike, a call was received that the motorcycle had lost control at the intersection of Orchard St and Springbank Drive, where it lost control and collided with another vehicle.

The motorcycle driver then tried to run from the scene but was caught by police immediately. 25 year old Adrean Angles of London, a suspended driver, is now charged with Criminal Code charges of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident, as well as several Highway Traffic Act charges.
