Police warn of a potential abduction of young girls in Toronto

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident that occurred on Sunday, November 7, 2010.

It is alleged that:

– two girls, aged 11 and 16, were sitting in a parked vehicle in the driveway of a home in the Renforth Road/Wellesworth Drive area,

– a man drove up and pulled in behind the vehicle with the girls in it,

– the man got out of his car, approached the girls’ vehicle and motioned for them to open the doors,

– he then attempted to open one of the doors which was locked,

– he got back into his own vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed.

He is described as white, 50–60, with receding white hair. He was driving a small-style silver SUV.
