Winnipeg police arrest David Michael Kyle Inman in Vancouver

As previously released, on July 4, 2014, at approximately 1:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 100 block of Osborne Street for the report of a male having been stabbed.
An 18-year-old male was located suffering from a stab wound to the upper body.  He was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continued by members of the West District Crime Unit.  It was learned that the victim and an unknown male had been involved in a verbal altercation which escalated to the point where the suspect produced a weapon and stabbed the victim.

Investigators were able to identify David Michael Kyle INMAN (19) as the male responsible, however attempts to locate him were unsuccessful and a warrant of arrest for Assault With a Weapon was subsequently obtained.  They later learned that INMAN was residing in Vancouver and notified local authorities.
