Toronto police bust a major marijuana grow-operation

On Thursday, January 27, 2011, members of the Toronto Police Clandestine Laboratory Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Bowsfield Road.

It is reported that:

– police discovered a sophisticated soil-based marijuana grow-operation in a home,

– over 1,000 marijuana plants and growing equipment, valued in excess of $1 million, were seized by police.

The investigation is ongoing.
