Houston police officers responded to a reported stabbing at the above address where they discovered the victim had been stabbed several times.

Further investigation led to the arrest of two juvenile males who are charged with stealing the victim’s pickup truck. Those juveniles told police they were with Cantu inside his apartment, along with the victim, when Cantu and the victim began arguing about money the victim owed Cantu. Cantu began beating the victim, and at some point, the victim attempted to jump out of the apartment through a closed window. Cantu stopped the victim from fleeing and stabbed him several times with a knife, killing him.
