Moncton MiraclesThe Moncton Miracles beat the Summerside Storm at the Moncton Coliseum with a final score of 110-95. 

The Miracles came out strong in the first quarter and were up 37-25 after the first 12 minutes of play. The Storm would not lay over that easy, the team battled back hard and the half ended with the Miracles only being up 59-50. 

The second half continued to be close but the Storm were never able to take the lead. 

Trayvon Lathan was the top scorer for the Miracles with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Akeem Wright followed with 22 points and 8 rebounds. 

Stephen McDowell led the way for the Storm with 24 points. Jessan Gray was right behind him with 14 points. 

Technical fouls were given to Miracles Sylvania Watkins, and Darrell Wonge. Storm’s head coach Joe Salerno was also given a technical, as well as Troy Jackson while Mike Williams was ejected from the game. 

The Miracles play their next game at home against the London Lightning on Thursday, January 26th, 2012. Game time is 7:00pm at the Moncton Coliseum.
