The Toronto Maple Leafs have fired head coach Craig Berube after the team failed to make the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
The team announced Berube’s departure in a news release issued Wednesday, saying the decision is “more reflective of an organizational shift and an opportunity for a fresh start than it is an evaluation of Craig.”
