Barcelona wants Messi back
Football club Barcelona is reportedly making a serious effort to bring back Lionel Messi. According to vice president Rafa Yuste, there has already been contact made with the management of the Argentine superstar.
Yuste expressed his desire for Messi to return, stating that the player knows how much the club appreciates him and that they hope to work things out together. Messi, who left Barcelona in the summer of 2021 to sign with Paris Saint-Germain, will be a free agent at the end of the season.
Yuste hopes to entice Messi back to Barcelona where he holds numerous records, including being the club’s all-time top scorer with 672 official goals. Messi won a total of 34 prizes with Barcelona during his 21-year stay.
