Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…The iconic movie studio Bombay Talkies that was founded in 1934 and shut down in 1954 due to lack of funds is now being revived again. Bombay Talkies, which will reopen after 58 years, is all set to launch their first film in June this year.

The film titled Zakhmi will feature 29 year old Abhay Kumar, the grandson of the studio's founder Rajnarayan Dube, along with Sayali Bhagat and Mithun Chakraborty.

Bombay Talkies had launched some of the biggest stars of Hindi cinema like Devika Rani, Ashok Kumar, Leela Chitnis, Raj Kapoor, Mehmood, Madhubala and Dilip Kumar.
