Mumbai: Farah Khan, a renowned Bollywood choreographer, is much in news and she has been creating the big hype in the media and entertainment circles due to her turning to acting with the upcoming film ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’. The film has been produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Sanjay’s sister Bela Sehgal. Farah is playing the main leading lady in the film and this is what has put her on the news leads. No one even could think of her playing the leading actress as she was a choreographer and had a plump figure. But Bhansali made it happen and the wonder took place.
A new lead we came to know regarding this film is that Farah has not been paid for this film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and she has done the movie for free. Talking to the media, choreographer turned actress says that no money was paid and even discussed so far. She utters that she worked in the film on behalf of her friendship with Leela Bhansali.
She goes on adding that Sanjay happened to be much encouraging on the sets. She adds that she got really scared seeing at the monitor since she was afraid of how she would look on screen. But Sanjay dragged her and let her watch her on monitor.
She mentions that she watched the movie just recently and after watching it, she rushed to the doctor’s clinic for a tummy check since she was looking so fat. Remember, Farah shed a lot of weight for this film. She says that now she finds her as Sanjay’s heroines like Aishwarya Rai, Madhuri Dixit and Manisha Koirala.
Farah is currently busy with the promotions of the film. She will then be busy with her husband’s film Joker’s promotions.
