Suspect Huntley James Grichor charged with murder in a fatal stabbing incident at 2800 Kirby

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 2800 Kirby about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (September 28).  

The suspect, Huntley James Grichor (w/m, 26), is charged with murder in the 351st State District Court.  He is accused in the death of Shannon James Gallagher, 25, of Houston, who died at the scene.  A photo of Grichor is attached to this news release.  

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arroyo and C. Liu reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to an apartment complex at the above address regarding a stabbing call.  Officers arrived and found Mr. Gallagher deceased.  Further investigation determined Gallagher got into an altercation with Grichor and, at some point, he was fatally stabbed.  Grichor was detained at the scene and subsequently charged.
