Edmond Doucet faces more charges in connection with death of pedestrian, Petit-Paquetville, N.B

On April 18, 2011, 62-year-old Edmond Doucet, of Rang-Saint-George, N.B., appeared in Caraquet Provincial Court to face one count of impaired driving causing death, in connection with a collision that occurred on April 14, on chemin Principal in Petit-Paquetville.

Mr. Doucet will face several other charges, including dangerous driving causing death, failure to stop after a collision, and driving with a blood alcohol concentration of more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood causing death.

Edmond Doucet will remain in custody until Tuesday April 26, when he will appear in court for his bail hearing.

The investigation is ongoing.
