Four Arrested After Home Invasion in Prince George

On April 25, 2011 at 2:37 am, Prince George RCMP received a report of a home invasion that occurred on the 1400 block of Nation Crescent in Prince George.

Officers arrived on scene and found three residents physically unharmed. Investigation revealed that four males with large edged weapons and bats, entered the residence by force. One resident was able to scare off the attackers and call police.

A short time later the investigation led officers to four males near 15th Avenue and Central Street. Through investigation, all four were arrested.

On April 26, 2011, Provincial Crown Counsel has approved multiple charges including Break & Enter, Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Theft and Uttering Threats against 33 year old Derek Glenn DOMEIJ, 27 year old Murphy John GEORGE, 20 year old Aaron James MORIN and 19 year old Cole Vid LAMBERT. MORIN has two additional charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and LAMBERT has two additional charges of Breach of Probation including a curfew. Further charges of Disguise with Intent have been approved against DOMEIJ, MORIN and LAMBERT. All four currently reside in Prince George, although LAMBERT is known to be from Kitimat, BC. All four have significant Criminal Records and are known to police. Next Court dates are scheduled for early May.

At least one of the accused is known to the victims. This was a targeted act.
