60 year old man Thomas Kane goes missing in Woodville, NS

At approximately 6:40 a.m., the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) New Minas received a missing persons complaint involving a 60 year-old male from the Woodville, Kings County area.

Yesterday, May 4th, Mr. Thomas Kane left his home to go for a walk and has not returned. Mr. Kane is described as approximately 5′ 10", 180 pounds with brown hair and eyes. His clothing description is unknown and he is believed to be carrying a walking stick.

The RCMP Police Service Dog conducted a search near the family home and Valley Ground Search and Rescue is currently searching the area.

UPDATE: Thomas Kane has been located.
