On January 18, 2012, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a fire was reported in a large industrial warehouse complex, commonly known as the “Foundry”,  located at 73 Lorne St., in Sackville, N.B.

When the Sackville Fire Department arrived on the scene, the building was fully engulfed. There was no indication of anyone being inside.

Four fire departments responded to the fire. The building is a total loss.

The District 4 RCMP is assisting the New Brunswick Office of the Fire Marshal with the investigation into the cause of the fire.
