On Monday, May 10, 2010, at 12:43 p.m., police responded to a call for a suspicious death at 3430 Finch Avenue.

Police located a woman with apparent trauma to the body. The victim was pronounced at the scene.

The victim has been identified as Li-Yuan (Rose) Liu, 61.

The cause of death has been determined to be stabbed wounds to the neck.

A photo of a person of interest – seen near the store at 3430 Finch Avenue – is being released at this time.

The woman is described as, 25–35 years old, with hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail. She was wearing a long dark overcoat, dark shoes and carrying a bag.
