Nighttime paving disrupts traffic on Southeast Henday, Edmonton

Motorists are advised that alternating lane and ramp closures will disrupt traffic on southeast Anthony Henday Drive for nightly paving work between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., weather permitting. Construction work began May 10 and will continue to Aug. 10, weather permitting. An updated list of planned closures will be issued regularly. Motorists should use caution in the area and obey all signs, message boards and flag people. Motorists are reminded that fines for speeding are doubled through construction zones when workers are present.

June 7 – QEII/Gateway Blvd

Closure of access ramp from westbound Anthony Henday Drive to QEII/Gateway Boulevard northbound. Detour using 111 Street.
Closure of access ramp from westbound Anthony Henday Drive to 111 Street. Detour using 127 Street or Terwillegar Drive.
June 8 – QEII/Gateway Blvd

Closure of access ramp from southbound QEII/Gateway Boulevard to eastbound Anthony Henday Drive. Detour using 111 Street.
June 9 to 11 – QEII/Gateway Blvd

Closure of the access ramp from northbound QEII/Gateway Boulevard to eastbound Anthony Henday Drive. Detour using 111 Street.
June 12 to 24 – Anthony Henday Drive Eastbound

Alternating lane closures on eastbound Anthony Henday Drive from QEII/Gateway Boulevard to 50 Street.
